The lady who was donating her kidney to Todd is still offering to donate her kidney to an individual if Todd moves up to the top of the list per the transplant registry.
Sad, but I do not think the national transplant registry will allow this as they have regulations they must follow.

She has absolutely no say as to where Todd is at on the National Registry. There are rules and regulations that they follow, the sickest get the kidneys first.
I agree and the rules are in place for a reason!
When my sister needed a transplant in 06 I requested a donor packet as I was thinking about being a live donor for her liver transplant.
Think work comp would have had problems with that one?

Work comp would have absolutely no say with you being a donor. Your WC problems did not include those organs. If you had been a donor that is something that they didn't even need to know, it would of had absolutely no impact on WC whatsoever.
Unless I was under medial treatment thru work comp, not at MMI.
It ended up my younger sister qualifying as a donor.
Although the sister needing the transplant ended up receiving a whole liver, she is doing well today.
Im new here but all prayers are with you and your family. All tragedies are hard on the ones left behind, but dont count youself out , its not over till its over. I wanted to ask anyone in any forum if they have had any dealings with subutex or Suboxone? Its usually prescribed as a painkiller, but the drug is like nothing Ive ever seen before and I was looking for info about it. thanks and good luck to all.
thoughts and prayers are with you and both families. My cousin (husbands cousin) is just going on "the list" for a kidney transplant. 44 yrs. young, all because of untreated high blood pressure! PLEASE remind family/friends to get regular check ups, this could have been prevented for our cousin!!!!
