Get it in writting, then go over it with your attorney.

What am I getting in writing? They are sending paperwork to the attorney to present to a judge and get approved? Then they send it to me to sign and then once it's returned to the attorney she sends me a check. So the paperwork that the judge approves is what I'm supposed to let an atty look at?

Dobby, your not back to 100% and you should have had a impairment raiting done. While you were off work did you collect ttd payments from wc...? A wc attorney does not get any money until the end when an agreed settlement is made.. I would suggest you at least talk to a few attorneys and bring the letter with you. The first visits are usually free....

Thanks, WC did pay me while I was off, after surgery while I recovered. It was only a few weeks and I went back to work with restrictions because WC payments are just not enough to cover all my responsibilities. I'll never be back to 100%, this is a perm. injury. It's something that coule maybe worsen the arthritis as I get older because of scar tissues...etc. It's something I've learned to work around in my job.
Thanks again to everyone who has answered my OP.

if you were left with permanent partial disability you are entitled to additional disability payments regardless of whether you returned to work or not.
