Hello again,
Its been awhile since I have posted but things are about the same.
I was injured 4 years ago. Have not been allowed to see my doctors since Sept. 2009. I do have a lawyer, actually the first one is no longer with the firm and his partner took my case over around April of 2010.

I have had 2 IMEs done for IC and an FCE. I also went thru the whole Vocational Rehab nightmare. Within a month of vocational rehab I found a part time job on my own with no help from counsellor.
As soon as he reported my part time job IC stopped paying my TTD.

Part time job only lasted a month but I continued Voc Rehab all the way to the end.

I was awarded SSDI in January 2010 but I didnt collect anythiing until IC stopped paying me. I have been without work since June of 2010.

We have a hearing coming up but my attorney says we dont have a chance of getting any back money because I am receiving SSDI.

They havent paid any mileage since 2009 either.

My ssdi is only 1000 we are no where near a settlement and if I have to get treatment for pain I am forced to go to Emergency Room.

I have luckily found another part time job cleaning houses- I am only getting paid 8.00 an hour and can only work 6 hours every other day due to pain.

I want to be able to see my doctors to find out if anything else is wrong after my surgeries but my attorney says this will only drag the case out more.

Why do we have to fight to get treatment, are they not supposed to pay until I get a rating from my doctors. Is there anything I can do?

if they are denying treatment they should give a reason for the denial.
if you weren't told they should have told your atty.
you can get a decision from the comp court.
your atty has to file for a court date.
