Now what is a filling defect ?
IT is an area where the dye that has been infused into the epidural space does not flow into or across. SOmething has blocked the flow of dye down the tube and is going to be something that has taken up that space, such as a tumor, a disc herniation, scar tissue etc.
A Myelogram is simply an x-ray of the spine like all the others you have had but with a dye that shows up white inside the spine gives different information then an MRI does.

is a mylogram anything like a discogram bc if it it it hurts like haities..dont let anyone tell you any diff..but it did find my prob
