TX WCREG's Release On RTW Outcomes For TX Injured Workers

Dallas, TX (CompNewsNetwork) - The Texas Department of Insurance's Workers' Compensation Research and Evaluation Group released a report on Return-To-Work Outcomes for Texas injured workers. The report focuses on four areas:
  • Initial RTW Rate 
  • Sustained RTW Rate
  • Trends In Pre- And Post- Injury Wages
  • Days Off Work 
Here are some of the findings presented in the report:
  • For the duration of 2003 to 2007, there's an increase in the percentage of injured workers back at work for the first time
  • There's an increase in the percentage of injured workers back at work at their pre-injury employer for the first time
  • The Utilities industry has seen the most increase of injured workers back to work
