Overland Park, KS (CompNewsNetwork) - The National Workers' Compensation Defense Network (NWCDN) has announced the agenda for it's upcoming national workers' compensation seminar in Overland Park, Kansas. The NWCDN holds two national seminars a year. They are free to  workers' compensation insurance company professionals and those who manage workers' compensation programs for self insured employers. 

The June 18, 2009 NWCDN National Workers’ Compensation Seminar, to be held in Overland Park, Kansas features a nationally and internationally recognized Orthopedic Surgeon, Mark Melhorn M.D., speaking on causation, treatment, return to work and impairment issues as they relate to workers’ compensation.  Also, they are featuring Workers’ Compensation Judges from several different states talking about issues relevant to workers’ compensation litigants.   There will also be cutting edge presentations by a panel of workers’ compensation managers with large employers and a legal expert on Medicare will speak on the new conditional payment notice and reporting obligations relevant to employers and insurers.
