New York, NY (CompNewsNetwork) - The State Senate confirmed Colleen C. Gardner as Commissioner of Labor this afternoon.  Gardner has been serving in an “Acting” capacity over the past few weeks.  She’s been active since her nomination by Governor Paterson last month, already visiting 12 One-Stop Career Centers across four regions.
