WorkersCompensation.com launches new products and interviews seven industry leaders at the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference and Expo in Chicago, IL.

Sarasota, FL, - WorkersCompensation.com, LLC today announced the successful conclusion of their activity at the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference and Expo in Chicago, IL last week.

The company, which was a Gold Sponsor of the conference, made a series of announcements during the 3 day event.

After more than one year in development, the company announced the release of its CompGuide XML™ Benefit Rules Engine which calculates four levels of disability benefits in all 50 states. CompGuide XML™ can be integrated into any Claims Management software application, offering developers a much needed component to correctly perform all benefit calculations in compliance with each state’s laws and requirements.  “The CompGuide XML™ engine, originally developed for integration into SAP’s™ “SAP for Insurance” application, is now available for integration with other software applications throughout the industry,” said Bob Wilson, company president.

The company also announced the expansion of its WorkCompResearch tools and information to include Federal and Longshore Workers’ Comp information.  The company said that its WorkCompResearch information can now be integrated into any company’s intranet employee portal.

In perhaps the most interesting activity on the conference floor, the company set up a full video production studio and conducted a series of video interviews with seven leading industry executives for its CompNewsNetwork’s CompTalk! Video Series.  The company plans to release each segment of the video interview series on its WorkersCompensation.com website over the next three months.  “This is the first time we have set up our video studio at a conference, and we hope to be able to continue to have our studio at future conferences,” said Wilson.  The company has seen continued growth in its web traffic, including dramatic growth in it’s CompTalk! Series and other multimedia offerings.

The company was also pleased to be a part of the annual “House of Blues Night”, sponsored by StrataCare. Wilson emceed StrataCare’s “National Idol II Competition”, featuring 10 conference attendees competing for cash prizes of up to $1,000. The company videotaped the contest, and the entire program is available on WorkersCompensation.com until December 15th.

“This was certainly our most successful National Conference yet,” said Alan Gordon, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for WorkersCompensation.com.  “Our research technology was well received by key industry leaders at the conference, and our series of executive video interviews attracted a lot of attention.”

The company has been a major sponsor of the National Workers’ Compensation Conference since 2000.
