Sarasota, FL ( - The State of Michigan has announced that several forms in their system are being converted to OCR standards, and will be required for use with specific parameters after July 1, 2013. The Compliance Team at has reviewed the new requirements, and has determined that the forms contained within our library will meet these OCR requirements. The state has provided detailed instructions that will allow our programmers to ensure that the field positions and font size requirements are correct.

These changes will also be supported for all FlashForm SSL and Virtual Claims Kit services where these forms are utilized.

The positioning and font requirements are similar to those utilized by the state of Pennsylvania, with the notable exception that the forms do not have to be submitted to the state for approval before use. With that in mind, in the unlikely event a customer encounters an issue with one of these new forms; we ask that they notify our Compliance Department immediately.

The new forms have already been uploaded and are in use on all Forms based services the company offers. The OCR component is required to be in compliance for all forms submitted after July 1, 2013.
